If you want to know how to watch the 2016 BCS Championship … good news and bad news!

College football’s national title game is on tonight! But it’s not the BCS.

If you are looking for how to watch No. 1 Clemson vs. No. 2 Alabama in the “BCS Championship,” you are not alone, and there is both good and bad news.

The good news is that Alabama and Clemson are playing a football game Monday night and it is for the National Championship. The bad news is that the “BCS Championship,” which pitted the nation’s top two teams, no longer exists. Now there is a College Football Playoff, which pits the top four teams in the country against each other, instead of BCS rankings.

The semifinals took place on New Year’s Eve (dumb, right?), with Alabama beating Michigan State and Clemson beating Oklahoma to advance to the College Football Playoff Championship, which is the new “BCS Championship.”

We have handy guides of how to watch on TV and everywhere, with previews of the game. Here are the quick specs:

Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
