WVU receiver makes incredible TD catch after being knocked down in end zone

This one was a beauty.

No. 16 West Virginia is taking on Texas this Saturday, and we potentially got one of the best touchdown catches of the season out of it.

Early in the second quarter, Mountaineers quarterback Skyler Howard found wideout Ka’Raun White in the end zone. Texas cornerback Kris Boyd tripped up White, who started falling down. Even as White was going down, he somehow was still able to haul it in.

The catch marks White’s second touchdown grab of the season. The score allowed West Virginia to take a 17-3 lead with 14:11 left in the second quarter. You have to tip your cap to White for being able to still keep his eyes on the ball even when he was going down to the ground.

Saturday’s game is pretty important for a couple of reasons — WVU needs a victory if it wants to stay alive in the Big 12 title race, and Texas needs to keep winning if Charlie Strong wants to remain in Austin in 2017.
