No. 3 Michigan has a game at Iowa on Saturday night (8 p.m. ET, ABC).
Michigan had a simple solution for Iowa’s pink visitors’ locker room: Redecorate
The Wolverines made an Iowa locker room look like home.

To get ready for the occasion, the Wolverines decided to make Kinnick Stadium look as much like home as humanly possible.

Iowa’s visiting locker room is famously pink. To whatever extent that’s intended to emasculate opposing opponents, that’s a bad thing — and it has been taken (not unreasonably, in my view) as a homophobic slight before. It’s not a good thing.
It doesn’t seem as if Michigan was making a social stand here, though. The program put up a video about the locker room this week, and it doesn’t take any kind of stand on it.
The issue’s moot for one week because Michigan almost totally papered and postered over the pink. The Wolverines made their Kinnick locker room look like a scene straight out of their own facility in Ann Arbor.
MIchigan is probably going to destroy Iowa on Saturday night. Once that happens, the Wolverines can celebrate their win in a locker room that looks like home.
