North Dakota State trolled Michigan about not being able to beat Iowa

The Bison don’t play games.

Iowa upset No. 3 Michigan, 14-13, at Kinnick Stadium on Saturday night. FCS powerhouse North Dakota State used that as occasion for some first-rate trolling.

That’s Iowa’s pink visitors’ locker room, which Michigan papered over almost entirely before playing on Saturday.

And, indeed, NDSU had a lot more success at Kinnick this year than the Wolverines did. While Michigan lost on a walk-off field goal, NDSU won on one back in September, continuing a stretch of dominance against every FBS team foolish enough to schedule the Bison. This prompted me to try to peg how NDSU would do as a Big Ten West team, and the answer was: pretty well, probably! The Bison are serious.

NDSU has won five FCS national titles in a row, and the Bison are in contention for another this year. They play football better than a bunch of FBS teams, and now we know they tweet better than a bunch of them, too.
