Look at this mannequin challenge featuring a live buffalo

Yes, it’s real.

I know, you probably think the mannequin challenge is played out. But I doubt you’ve seen one of these videos with a live animal in it. And if you have, I know you haven’t seen one with a live buffalo in it.

Yes, that is a real buffalo. Some of our non-college football staff was just as surprised to learn that. For 50 years, that buffalo and its predecessors have been famous for not standing still. In fact, the tradition is for it to lead the team out pregame by sprinting out of a gate.

But because the mannequin challenge is all the rage with the kids these days, Ralphie stood still and slayed us. In fact, although its name is Ralphie, this particular buffalo is actually female. So it’s true, that girl is a real crowd pleaser.
