The No. 9 Colorado Buffaloes sealed the Pac-12 South divisional race by beating Utah in Boulder on Saturday night, 27-22. Next up: a Pac-12 Championship Game against No. 5 Washington on Friday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. (9 p.m. ET, FOX). That’ll be a lot of fun.
The 2016 Pac-12 South standings race goes to Colorado
The Buffs stave off USC by beating Utah.

The final South standings:
It was a must-win game for the Buffs. They entered the weekend a game ahead of USC in the standings, but USC held a head-to-head tiebreaker. A loss would’ve thrown the division to the Trojans, who’ve been white-hot for two months. But the Buffs controlled their own destiny, and they delivered when they had to.
Washington clinched the North by beating Washington State in a blowout of an Apple Cup on Friday. The Buffs had to wait more than 24 hours to punch their ticket to join them, but they did. Now we’ll get a really good game, in which UW will be the clear favorite but CU’s defense should keep the Buffs close.
