Virginia lost to VT by 42 points. Then its equipment truck got stuck on a mountain road

There’s a metaphor in here somewhere.

Virginia took a tremendous L on the field in the 52-10 whoopin’ at the hands of rival Virginia Tech. And then, they took their second L of the day on the road. No seriously, it was literally on a road, and literally shaped like an L, too.

There was a multi-vehicle crash backing up traffic for as many as 16 miles on the stretch of highway between Blacksburg and Charlottesville after the game. The accident was also northbound, the direction you would take if driving from Virginia Tech’s campus to Virginia’s.

Here’s the route Virginia’s equipment truck took to avoid the accident, taking them away from Roanoke, on a back road.

But it seems everyone’s OK.
