Betting Line / Total: Ohio State -17 / 52 Points
Trend: Ohio State is 4-10 ATS in its last 14 games at home.
Trend: Nebraska is 23-6 SU in its last 29 games after a loss.
Ohio State has been a double-digit favorite in each of its last four games. The Buckeyes are 0-4 ATS over those four games, needing overtime to beat Wisconsin as a 10.5-point road favorite, losing outright to Penn State as a 17.5-point favorite, and then barely getting by Northwestern 24-20 as a 26-point favorite last Saturday.
The team has not played well since getting off to a brilliant 4-0 SU and ATS start to the season, and getting back on track this week won’t be easy against a solid Nebraska team.
Saturday’s total is set at 52 points. The UNDER is 4-1 in Ohio State’s last five games against teams with winning records.
Both Nebraska and Ohio State control their own destiny in the Big Ten, and if either is able to win out it would all but certainly punch that team a ticket into the College Football Playoff. Ohio State is the clear favorite at home, but if the last few weeks are any indication, this one could be interesting all the way down to the wire.
