TCU player immobilized, carted off after collapsing on sideline vs. Baylor
A scary scene unfolded at the TCU-Baylor game.

Moments earlier, Galeai was involved in a tackle of Baylor quarterback Seth Russell. On that tackle, Galeai (No. 47 in white) lunged into Russell headfirst.
Galeai went to the ground and appeared to be in some pain, but he walked off the field without much trouble after that. TCU’s defense finished the drive, and things looked normal.
It took a couple of minutes before the scene involving Galeai unfolded on the TCU sideline. Medical staff surrounded him quickly, and some of his teammates knelt in apparent prayer. Others just looked on silently.
This isn’t the sort of scene any of us ever want to see.
Some good news, from ESPN’s Mitch Sherman: Galeai was “moving his arms and delivers a thumbs-up to the crowd” as he was on his way off the field.
And this:
Best wishes to Galeai on a fast recovery. We’ll update this post as more information on his condition becomes available.
