No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 13 LSU is not the game you should be watching if you like points.

The series’ most famous games are a 9-6 battle in 2011 and a 21-0 rematch of the BCS Championship in that same season, so 2016’s low-scoring edition shouldn’t be a surprise.

Below, we’re keeping track of every play in this game that almost resulted in points. So far, there are only about a half dozen of those.

At some point, we’ll add at least one play that resulted in actual points. (All GIFs via CBS.)

First quarter, 12:39

LSU got into Alabama territory after intercepting Jalen Hurts on the Tide’s first possession. The Tigers were able to get inside the 39 yard line, and Colby Delahoussaye tried for a 49-yard field goal, but it was blocked by Ronnie Harrison.

First quarter, 2:49

Late in the first quarter, Hurts faced second-and-11 at his own 1-yard line. Under pressure, Hurts chucked the ball toward the Alabama sideline, in an area completely devoid of Alabama receivers.

When seeing the play live, the throw looked like it could be called for intentional grounding, given that there were no wideouts where Hurts made the throw. Since he was in his own end zone, it would’ve been an LSU safety. But, there was no flag throwm on the play, evidently because he was close to the edge of his offensive line’s tackle box.

Second quarter, 5:52

Alabama was able to drive from its own 9-yard line all the way down to LSU’s 24, highlighted by a big 28-yard run from Hurts and a 21-yard pass to Calvin Ridley. On 4th and 10 from the 24, Bama kicker Adam Griffith tried for a 42-yard field goal. It was no good.

Second quarter, :08

LSU threw a hail mary. It didn’t work.

Third quarter, 11:30

Alabama finally looked like it was going to score in the third quarter, after recovering an LSU fumble on its own 40. On the first play of the drive, Hurts found Ridley on a 52-yard bomb to the LSU 8. The Tide got down to LSU’s 1, but on fourth-and-goal, Hurts was stopped short of the end zone. The Tiger defense read Hurts’ snap count perfectly.

Fourth quarter, 13:08 ***AN ACTUAL SCORE HAPPENED***

Alabama scored a touchdown, with Hurts running in from 21 yards out to complete a 12-play, 90-yard drive. Bama leads, 7-0.

Fourth quarter, 2:41 ***ANOTHER ACTUAL SCORE***

Bama reached LSU’s goal line again, but a false start call moved the Tide back and eventually forced a field goal. New score: 10-0, Bama.
