Washington beat Alabama! OK, it was in bowling and go-karting

The Battle for Bowl Week got started on Monday night.

THE WASHINGTON HUSKIES HAVE BEATEN THE CRIMSON TIDE. Well, off the field, that is. The Peach Bowl between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington won’t kick off until Saturday afternoon, but in the week leading up to the game, the two teams have partaken in some friendly competition. In a massive upset, the Huskies beat the Tide.

Nick Saban can’t be happy about how the Tide executed this process. Bama ain’t raced nobody!

Did we mention UW beat Alabama by over 100 points in bowling?

These activities are part of the Peach Bowl’s “Battle for Bowl Week” series of fun competitions. The winner gets this belt:

We’ll see if the Tide can come back from this early deficit. Given that it’s still early in the week, there’s still time to make up some ground.

Was 1991 Washington the best college team ever?
