Cam Newton charters flight to make a 10-year-old’s Christmas wish come true

What a great moment.

Few things are better than a child’s smile, and the look on young Taylor Deckard’s face when Cam Newton walks in his hospital room says it all.

He’s even wearing Newton’s No. 2 Tigers jersey.

The setup is the best part. It’s great how his parents tell him to put the game down and he initially pouts, then he lights up when he realizes who’s come to visit.

Tuesday is usually a day off for NFL teams, and former Panthers beat writer Jonathan Jones said Newton used his time off to make the kid’s day.

“I feel your heart — it’s going 1,000 miles per hour,” Newton told Taylor. His heart isn’t the only one that fluttered after seeing this moment.
