No. 23 Virginia Tech, taking on No. 3 Clemson in the 2016 ACC Championship Game from Orlando, is pulling out all the stops against the Tigers on Saturday night. On fourth down in Clemson territory, the Hokies went for a fake punt and executed it just right. Punter Mitchell Ludwig did a jump pass of sorts — it almost looked like a basketball shot, to be honest — to Terrell Edmunds, who barreled 20 yards for a first down.

Justin Fuente is pulling out all the stops.

Originally, Edmunds was called as an ineligible man downfield, because it looked like he didn’t catch it beyond the line of scrimmage, but upon further review the call was reversed and the refs gave the Hokies a first down. The drive resulted in a touchdown to cut the Tigers’ lead down to one score, 14-7.
Shoutout to Tech’s head coach Justin Fuente for using some tricks up his sleeve. He’ll likely need a few more of those to beat the No. 3 team in the country.
