Andi got her wish, and it was special.
But the purpose behind it is even more meaningful, beyond just showing off the American flag. This was a 13-year-old’s wish, to sing a song on a grand stage for all to hear, and they certainly did.
In 2012, Andi was diagnosed with ciliary dyskinesia, a genetic disorder that causes chronic, and sometimes life-threatening, respiratory issues. Not limited by her illness, Andi holds on to big dreams of a bright future — namely, to become a famous singer with the stage name AKJ.

She loves Broadway music and opera, and lives near the Atlanta area. Make-A-Wish Georgia is also working with Andi to put on a concert in Atlanta in the summer of 2017.
