Drake Johnson has been snake-bitten by injuries in his Michigan career. After tearing his ACL in 2013 and 2014, the Wolverine running back was sent to the hospital on Wednesday after a reported run-in with industrial equipment at track practice.
Michigan RB’s condition a ‘miracle’ after reported forklift accident, says Harbaugh
According to Jim Harbaugh, it’s divine intervention the fifth-year senior wasn’t seriously injured.

According to MLive, Johnson was able to walk away from the incident, though his full health status is still unknown. Head coach Jim Harbaugh called Johnson’s ability to escape serious injury “a miracle” in a conference call on Thursday. “Thank God he’s alright,” said Harbaugh. “Would’ve killed a lesser man.”
On Wednesday, an accident occurred at the indoor track and field building involving student-athlete Drake Johnson. He was evaluated by a U-M Athletic Department Team Physician and was referred to the U-M Health System for further evaluation.
The school provided no further details, but reports suggest Johnson was injured while stretching. The fifth-year senior is a hurdler for the Wolverines’ track team.
I'm told Michigan RB Drake Johnson WAS seen at the hospital today. Guy who says he saw him said he was hit by forklift while stretching.
