As PAPN is the unofficial podcast of the AAC, it only made sense for both of us to head to Newport for the annual AAC media day celebration. And because we love you, we created a two-part podcast.
PODCAST AIN’T PLAYED NOBODY, featuring Tom Herman, Tuberville and many more
Bill and Godfrey attended AAC Media Day to eat lobster, talk about stats with Tom Herman and Chad Morris, talk catfish with Philip Montgomery, and a lot more. BTW, Week 1 is almost here!

In Part 1, we got Navy’s Ken Niumatalolo to talk about newfound conference life, Cincinnati’s Tommy Tuberville to talk about Snapchattin’ and realignment, Temple’s Matt Rhule to talk about rebuilding his defense, South Florida’s Willie Taggart to talk about satellite camps and Tulsa’s Philip Montgomery to talk about tempo and catfish.
We also chatted about the AAC’s place in an ever-consolidating college football universe.
In Part 2, SMU’s Chad Morris said the “M” word (“math”), which sent us down the road of talking to both Morris and Houston’s Tom Herman about box scorin’.
And then we came to the happiest of revelations: IT’S TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT WEEK 1. WE MADE IT.
Enjoy.
