The Rebels are off to a disappointing 1-2 SU and ATS start, but part of that can simply be attributed to a brutal opening schedule. The defense being unable to hold on to leads is also to blame as Ole Miss saw a 28-13 lead over Florida State disappear in a 45-34 loss and a 24-3 lead crumble in its 48-43 loss to Alabama.
The Rebels have averaged 38.3 points per game through the first three games of the season, but the defense will have to be better for the Rebels moving forward.
