ESPN’s ‘Coaches Film Room’ can’t stop giggling about Bama destroying Clemson’s center

No regard for human life.

Alabama downed a punt perfectly to pin Clemson deep inside its own territory, and the Tigers had to work out of their own end zone. On first down, Alabama defensive lineman Da’Ron Payne literally destroyed Clemson offensive lineman Jay Guillermo.

One of the best parts about this play happened during the Coaches Film Room over on ESPNNews, the crew, including the likes of Syracuse’s Dino Babers, Colorado’s Mike MacIntrye, and others, literally laughed out loud at Payne new Baylor head coach Matt Rhule. Here’s another look at Payne.

Payne, who is listed on Alabama’s roster as 6’2 319 pounds, also doesn’t do a lot of talking off the field. Earlier this week, SB Nation asked him to talk about what he wanted to talk about. He responded pretty candidly.

“I don’t like not talkin’ ‘bout nothin’. I just like hitting. Go out there with them pads and let them pads talk,” defensive lineman Da’Ron Payne said.
