Alabama will have plenty of visitors come through Bryant-Denny Stadium this season. There will be five-stars, and future NFL players — future legends of the fall who will probably lead the Tide to yet another national championship.
Alabama visitor Jake Pratt scored what is, perhaps, high school football’s most impactful touchdown this year
Pratt has a wonderful story, and he’s living any college football fan’s dream

But none of them will ever score a TD like Jake Pratt did. Pratt, a senior at Vestavia Hills High in Alabama with Down syndrome, scored on this lovely moment in his team’s preseason jamboree. Both teams came together to let Jake score, and have his moment in the sun.
Since then, Pratt’s been a viral hit, and it’s landed him in some pretty cool places.
Parsons will be at Bama’s game this weekend against Arkansas, according to SEC Country.
One of Jake’s biggest goals is to get accepted into college. He has dreams of independent living and having his own apartment with his best friends. He also wants to get married one day and have a job. Most importantly, like every other teenager, Jake wants to get away from his parents.
“He told me the other day how he can’t wait to leave home so he could live with his friends and have a house party,” his mother said. “I asked him, ‘What do you mean a house party, Jake?’ He said that he’s going to have pizza and girls at his house party.”
He’ll be the guest of Nick Saban’s wife, Terry, and it’s not the only famous Tide connection he’s had lately. This is him with former Tide coach Gene Stallings.
He also got to meet Dabo Swinney at a Clemson game a few weeks ago, and got to go to an Auburn game as well.
Pratt’s certainly living the life, and he’s one of the colorful stories that make college football great.
