Penn State’s prep for Michigan includes this perfect post-practice dance battle

This looks fun! Sports should be fun.

No. 2 Penn State hosts No. 19 Michigan on Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC). It’s a huge game in the Big Ten East, with significant Playoff and divisional ramifications for each.

The Nittany Lions appear to be staying loose.

Here’s a spirited dance battle after Thursday’s practice between defensive back Marcus Allen and a friend of the program, Zach:

Both guys are smooth here, so respect to both of them. Let’s call it a draw.

One of my favorite parts of this scene is how completely into it Saquon Barkley gets. He’s No. 26 in white, a Heisman candidate running back who’s put up a growing tab of outrageous highlights already this season (and beyond). Barkley’s stoked:

Thursday is usually the last serious practice before a Saturday game. (Teams will usually do a little walk-through on Friday, though plans differ depending on travel, weather, and the like.) A dance battle is a good way to head into the weekend, I think.
