Texas and Baylor will face each other on Saturday, and here’s all you need to know.

Baylor is winless on the season, though it has faced three ranked teams. It will face two more before the season is over, with Iowa State and TCU still on its schedule. It has been blown out and it has lost close games, but there have been a lot more of the latter.
The Longhorns are 3-4 on the year and have lost their last two. To be fair, both games were against ranked competition, falling to then-No. 12 Oklahoma and then-No. 10 Oklahoma State. They also have lost to then-No. 4 USC. Their one loss to non-ranked competition was to Maryland in Week 1, when they fell, 51-41.
Texas also has games against West Virginia and TCU, both of whom are currently ranked.
As a result, the Longhorns face a must-win situation against Baylor. They are 2-2 in the Big 12 and they really need to get a win for Tom Herman. Their last two losses have been by a total of just eight points, and all four of their losses this year have been by 10 points or less.

Texas vs. Baylor news:
- While the betting line did open with Texas as 10-point favorites, it did narrow several times throughout the week, as noted by Our Daily Bears.
- The biggest concern for Texas fans? A struggling offensive line that the Bears are more than capable of exploiting.
- In addition to the poor offensive line play, the running game hasn’t been able to get going. That could, of course, be a symptom of the poor offensive line, but it’s an issue, as noted by Burnt Orange Nation.
- One positive, though, is defensive end Breckyn Hager, who has been effective at rushing the passer.
Texas vs. Baylor prediction:
Texas has struggled. Texas has come up just short multiple times. It’s not going to happen on Saturday, though. It is playing a Bears team in flux, and it should be able to get away with a victory.
