We’ve got all the makings of a Big 12 shootout in Norman between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday night. In the third quarter, Tech pulled within eight points on this touchdown catch from receiver Cameron Batson, who juggled it and finally hauled it in as he his the ground in the end zone.
Not even Texas Tech’s quarterback could believe his receiver caught this touchdown
You can’t blame him, really.

The best part about all of this is that Red Raiders quarterback Nic Shimonek thought that Batson didn’t make the catch when he was watching from under center:
Oklahoma ended up scoring a touchdown on its next drive to go up 41-27, but Batson’s catch will certainly be on the highlight reels for the next couple of days. On the night, Batson has two touchdowns.
This game was already on-pace to have over 1,200 yards of offense at halftime, and it looks like that is going to hold true — the two teams have combined for 794 yards and there’s still most of the second half left!
