Alabama head coach Nick Saban is celebrating his 66th birthday on Tuesday, which also happens to be Halloween. For the occasion, his players decided to give their coach a little something to celebrate it. The team cheered as he walked into a team meeting, and Bama freshman defensive back Daniel Wright then serenaded Saban with a solo rendition of “Happy Birthday.”

This is impressive!

Not going to lie, this is pretty impressive. Saban’s team did this a year ago for his birthday too, but that time, it sang to him as a group.
Oh and on this day last season, Saban got perhaps his greatest birthday gift of all: a bullshit button. No, really, he did!
Sure, those are real, according to a look at the internet. Everything is real online. A demonstration of a similar device:
This is a fine present for a man so averse to bullshit, he eats the same thing for breakfast and lunch every day in order to avoid having to waste time with decisions.
Saban also famously has a button in his office that can close his door. Now he can just mash both these rascals at the same time and block off the world’s distractions while declaring it all to be bullshit, all without raising his lovely voice.
At least this season, he didn’t forget his birthday like he did back in 2012:
“My wife said, ‘Happy birthday,’ this morning, and it was like, ‘Oh, I forgot,’” Nick Saban told ESPN’s Sam Steele. (NOTE: Nick Saban’s wife is a hero.)
“I appreciate people calling,” Saban added. “But it really is hard to almost acknowledge, personally, that something different is happening, because you’re in such a routine of what you feel you need to do to get the team ready to play the game. Football season is not a job. It’s more a way of life.”
Happy birthday coach, and Roll Tide.
