Can Clemson improve to 6-0 on the season against a tough Wake Forest team? We have all you need to know to watch on Saturday.

The Tigers are riding a 10-game winning streak and are 3-0 in the ACC this year. They already have victories over Auburn, Louisville, and Virginia Tech, tough teams that would give any team in the nation fits.
Despite losing quarterback Deshaun Watson to the NFL draft, Clemson hasn’t missed a beat with junior quarterback Kelly Bryant under center. Bryant has completed 86-of-130 passes for 1,059 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. He also has 362 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.
On the defensive side of the ball, Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence are the names to watch as Clemson ranks fourth nationally in scoring defense and seventh in total defense.
Wake Forest won its first four games of the season but lost its most recent game, a 26-19 affair against Florida State. The Demon Deacons are moving in a positive direction overall, but there is a massive talent gap between the two teams.

Wake Forest vs. Clemson news:
- The fans over at Shakin The Southland know that Wake Forest is a surprisingly strong team that shouldn’t be overlooked. Trap game?
Homecoming! A chance to relax and enjoy the early fall weather against a cupcake opponent. Right? No. Rain is in the forecast, and Wake Forest is surprisingly good. While still facing an enormous talent deficit, the talent on campus has steadily increased since Dave Clawson arrived in 2014. Wake held FSU to a virtual stalemate a week ago before succumbing to a late TD pass, but largely outplayed a Noles squad seeking its first win. Clemson, of course, is fresh off another dominant road win in prime time. A close game on Saturday doesn’t equal a letdown; it’s almost expected against an ever-improving Wake program.
- Over at Wake Forest blog Blogger So Dear, they took a look at the two biggest impact players for Clemson: Quarterback Kelly Bryant and linebacker Dorian O’Daniel. They’ll have their hands full against those two guys.
- Speaking of Blogger So Dear, they took a look at the Clemson offense in one of their pregame previews, and well ... they aren’t very optimistic:
Beating the Tigers in Death Valley will be a tall, and likely nearly impossible task for the Deacs on Saturday. The offense is so diverse, and big plays can happen at any moment. It must be nice to be the reigning national champs and be able to run pretty much whatever you want to successfully. Wake’s defense will face its toughest task all season on Saturday.
- It’s been a big week for Clemson off the field, as players, coaches and staff swarmed the scene of a car accident and did their best to provide aid for a student involved in the crash, via ESPN. It’s a pretty incredible story.
Wake Forest vs. Clemson prediction:
Clemson should be able to win Saturday’s game any way it wants. Wake Forest is improving as a team each year, but Clemson has been nearly unstoppable for three years now. It will win Saturday’s game and improve to 6-0 on the season.
