Remember when Georgia fans took over Notre Dame Stadium a few weeks back?
Georgia fans keep taking over road stadiums. Vandy’s was the easiest one yet
Before, after, or during every UGA road game so far this year, the red-and-black have taken over.

The traveling red horde has hit Nashville even harder (it’s currently 28-7, Dawgs, so this should get even redder):
Vanderbilt fans being outnumbered at home by bigger SEC fan bases isn’t exactly a new thing — Alabama says hi! — but this means UGA’s only faced one true road-crowd environment so far this season, aaaand it won that game at Tennessee by 41 points. In fact, by the end, the Dawgs might’ve had the personnel advantage in the stands on that day, too:
Next road trip, other than the neutral-siter against Florida: Auburn. The Dawgs will need a big win to have any kind of population edge in that one.
And UGA’s final road trip of the year is to Atlanta to play Georgia Tech, where the Dawgs tend to start out with a large portion of the crowd. From 2015:
So that could be three of five 2017 road games in which UGA starts out with roughly half the crowd or more. Wild!
