Miami just vanquished all of its demons with an epic comeback win over Florida State on the road. It was a wild game that looked like it was going to be another heartbreaker for the Canes, as they’ve had so often against FSU recently. They pulled it out, and Miami fans across the country went wild. Probably none more so than former Canes player Michael Irvin.

I have no shade for this because there’s a level of understood catharsis with a win like this. For Miami, this is huge. The last few seasons the Hurricanes have been beaten by the Noles, it’s caused their seasons to go down the tubes coming down the stretch. Now, with a Miami team that’s legitimately talented, the wind is at its back. Maybe we’ll have another Irvin rant like this one.
