I have no idea how this Utah extra point worked, but it did

My god, this is incredible on so many levels.

No. 20 Utah went down swinging against Stanford on Saturday night in Salt Lake City. The Utes scored a touchdown with 44 seconds left to make it a one-score game. On the extra point after though, things got well, super weird. The holder bobbled the ball as the kicker started making his kick. The kicker, Matt Gay, then hesitates before awkwardly kicking it and barely putting it over the crossbar. Look at this damn thing:

The kick was good! Oh my god there’s so much going on here. My favorite part is how Gay is like “ehhhh i better not kick this but I have to kick this so effffff it imma just kick it!”

Oh my god the way his legs awkwardly end up positioned before he kicks this kills me and has me in tears laughing. Hey, but he made the extra point though, and that’s what matters. The Utes attempted an onside kick after the field goal, but Stanford recovered it to seal the 23-20 victory.
