This is like watching your child do something unexpectedly amazing, and then welling up with pride, I’d presume. After the Oklahoma Sooners’ 38-20 win over the TCU Horned Frogs, Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley gave a postgame speech to his players. During it, he began talking about his team’s effort and the sideline energy, and he uses “off the chain” to describe it. That’s when Sooners QB Baker Mayfield’s face lights up — it started right at the 28-second mark:

So much pride!

“But your fight, your effort tonight, the sideline, the crowd, everything was off the chain tonight guys, you were awesome.”
The best part is how Mayfield says “off the chain” again like he didn’t think it was real at first, then he gives his coach a fist bump for using the term. You can hear some of the other players in the background enjoying it, too.
What’s funny here is that Riley, who is 34 years old and the youngest head coach in the FBS, isn’t that much older than Mayfield, who’s 22. Gotta love Riley using some slang, though!
