2 weeks after trolling UGA via song choice, Auburn did the same to Bama via TWO song choices

Yeah, there are gonna be some Bama fans not so happy with this.

The Auburn Tigers beat the Alabama Crimson Tide 26-14 on Saturday night, and the crowd at Jordan-Hare Stadium did more than just cheer on the Tigers. After the game, the stadium’s PA system played “Dixieland Delight,” a song by the country band Alabama, which is obviously popular among Alabama fans and has even been sung in Tuscaloosa for an Iron Bowl, albeit with “f*** Auburn” mixed in.

Auburn’s version, via Josh Black:

Bama fans have added extra words into “Dixieland Delight’s” chorus, which makes it kind of like an Alabama fight song in essence — here’s what the Bama version of the song sounds like:

Spend my dollar (ON BEER),

Parked in a holler ‘neath the mountain moonlight (ROLL TIDE),

Hold her uptight (AGAINST THE WALL),

Make a little lovin’ (ALL NIGHT),

A little turtle dovin’ on a Mason Dixon night (F*** AUBURN),

Fits my life (AND LSU), oh so right (AND TENNESSEE, TOO),

My Dixieland Delight.

That wasn’t all!

As Auburn fans began rushing the field in celebration, Auburn’s band played “Rammer Jammer,” Bama’s traditional post-victory song that’s highlighted by the “We just beat the hell outta you.” crowd chant:

Copying this Bama song is an Auburn tradition, though. The 2010 version:

This is apparently Auburn’s 2017 thing.

And in case you forgot, two weeks ago, while the Auburn was up 40-10 in the fourth quarter against Georgia, the stadium loudspeaker played “Crank That” by Soulja Boy.

This is of course karma, because during the 2007 game, Georgia danced to this same exact song while up 11 points in the fourth quarter.

Stay golden, Auburn band and Jordan-Hare MC.
