Ray-Ray McCloud evades basically NC State’s entire team to score this punt return

The Wolfpack gotta stay in their lanes on punt return defense.

It seems that the Textile Bowl is just gonna swing on special teams. Clemson’s Ray-Ray McCloud takes this bad boy 77 yards to the house, evading eight tackles and nearly every player on NC State’s team.

McCloud’s work is impressive here. He coulda been tackled here ...

This is art. McCloud said earlier in the season that Dabo Swinney loved his potential in the return game.

“It’s only been two or three games, but Coach Swinney really went on me to take it more serious, that this is a big part of the game that can win games and lose games,” McCloud said. “All summer, he was on me about taking it more serious and taking every rep as if it’s the last play of the game and there are 90,000 people in the stands in the national championship… That’s how I’ve been kind of doing.”

This was McCloud’s first career punt return TD. If you’re gonna have one, you might as well make it a big one. McCloud does that in spades.
