Oklahoma Sooners defensive back Parrish Cobb has been arrested for the second time in less than three months.
Oklahoma CB Parrish Cobb arrested for armed robbery while already suspended for previous charges
The Sooners have had five arrests this offseason alone.

On Thursday evening, the Norman Police Department released a statement detailing that Cobb, 19, was arrested Thursday morning following a robbery that took place overnight Wednesday. Cobb was arrested on complaints of robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The victim stated that two black males entered his apartment and pointed semi-automatic handguns at him and his roommate. The two suspects then stole cash and drugs from the residence before leaving on foot. No one was injured during the incident. One of the suspects concealed his identity with a mask and gloves. The second suspect did not conceal his identity and was later identified by one of the victims as 19-year-old Parrish Cobb.
This isn’t the first incident for the Sooner defensive back. In January, Cobb was arrested and charged with three felonies for counts of first-degree aggravated robbery, which occurred earlier that month in Waco, Texas. Cobb was suspended indefinitely both from the team and the university.
In 2016, Cobb signed with Baylor as a four-star recruit, but left the team following the program’s sexual assault scandal.
This marks the fifth arrest for Oklahoma this offseason, including starting quarterback Baker Mayfield for public drunkenness, early enrollee quarterback Chris Robinson, and walk-on defensive back Ronnie LaRue, along with Cobb’s arrest in Waco.
We’ll update this story if it develops further.
