Come spring with us.

Hey, welcome back to kinda football. It’s the first day that’s truly packed to the gills with spring games, and it’s nice to have the game back, even if it’s only the diet version.

Today we’ve got some big guns with Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Louisville, and others set to scrimmage. We’ll be hanging out throughout.

Live updates, all day long.

Texas:

Nebraska: The family of Staff Sergeant Matthew Hawke were surprised with his homecoming after he disguised himself as a Nebraska football player.

Stanford:

USF: Charlie Strong’s USF Bulls made their spring debut on Saturday.

Houston: New Cougars head coach Major Applewhite held his first spring scrimmage.

Missouri:

Oh, and Tigers defensive back DeMarcus Acy hilariously lost a foot race to a Mizzou student even after he gave him a head start.

USC: The Trojans didn’t have a traditional spring scrimmage, but there were plenty of takeaways from the open practice.

Stanford:

Oklahoma State: He’s listed at 6’7” and there’s a decent chance that if he plays this season you’ll commit that height to memory. Announcers likely won’t let you forget it.

Texas:

Ohio State: Awwww.

Nebraska: Not bad, Huskers.

Ohio State: See why the Buckeyes played two-hand touch?

Michigan: Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight has two interceptions on the day.

Missouri:

Utah:

Ohio State: The reigning spring attendance champ now leads 2017 as well:

Michigan:

Ohio State: The Buckeyes’ spring game showed signs of improvements on offense.

Oh, and former OSU quarterback Cardale Jones, who was at the spring game, chucked a 66-yard pass while rocking Timberland boots.

We’ve seen him show off his arm during the Buckeyes’s spring game before, like when he out-threw J.T. Barrett without stepping into his throw in 2016.

Mizzou: He got a seven yard head-start, but whoever the young man is close to the sideline, the Tigers could use his speed in space.

Texas:

Utah: Hey, where’d Bama QB Cooper Bateman go? There he is:

Missouri: Sample sizes!

Ohio State: The Buckeyes’ early enrollee signal caller is already making things happen.

Oklahoma State: Starting QB Mason Rudolph is back, and he’s making some plays.

Missouri: Rock M Nation, our Mizzou blog, is trying out an interesting coverage method for its game:

Michigan: Butt back.

Utah: Devonta’e Henry-Cole, a rising sophomore who only got a handful of touches as a freshman, has been the focal point so far:

Michigan:

Ohio State: The Buckeyes spent the whole first quarter and then some playing two-hand touch (?), but we did get to see J.T. Barrett catch a trick pass.

Michigan: The Wolverines have some new helmet stickers, with an Italian flag next to the usual American one for the spring game on Saturday. The flag represents the Wolverines’ upcoming trip to Rome later this month. The team will spend a week in Rome for practice, education and sightseeing.

Pitt: An incredible gesture from the Panthers here to honor the late Dan Rooney with helmets during today’s game:

Ohio State: Buckeye fans really love spring games, so much so that they routinely pack six figures into Ohio Stadium for the scrimmages. It’s happening again today. But the crowd count likely won’t get too much higher than 80,000 due to renovations. The demand has created an interesting situation:
