Last weekend’s spring games were some heavy hitters attendance-wise, with Ohio State claiming the No. 1 spot in this year’s spring attendance records.
Michigan and Nebraska hauled in impressive numbers, too. But Alabama typically brings in a big number, so we’ll have to wait and see just how big that is following the Tide’s national title loss to Clemson last January. A good turnout is still likely.
LSU’s spring game should be interesting, giving us our first look at new offensive coordinator Matt Canada’s system. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart just hauled in the highest-rated class in history, and with quarterback Jacob Eason returning, Athens will be abuzz. Oh, and we get our first look at a Lane Kiffin-less Alabama offense, too.
