We now have win total over/unders for all 130 FBS teams in 2017, via South Point Sportsbook. This is the number of regular season wins you can bet on each team exceeding or falling short of, meaning these numbers are good gauges of national expectations for everybody.
How the 2017 college football season will go if Vegas is right about everything
Predicted (so to speak) conference standings, Playoff teams, and more.

The whole list is grouped by conference below, but if all this turned out as presented to bettors, the highlights would be something like this (though keep in mind Vegas doesn’t distinguish between conference wins and total wins):
- Conference title games: Clemson/FSU vs. Miami, Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State, Ohio State vs. Wisconsin, Washington vs. USC, Georgia vs. Alabama, USF vs. Houston, Western Kentucky vs. Louisiana Tech, Miami (Ohio) vs. Western Michigan, and Boise State vs. San Diego State.
- Assuming no surprises among those, the Playoff would have Alabama and Ohio State as the top two seeds, USC or Washington at No. 3, and Oklahoma at No. 4.
- The ACC would be the excluded Power 5 for the first time.
- USF appears to be the New Year’s Six favorite among mid-majors. BYU isn’t eligible for a NY6 bowl auto bid, but can make it if it ranks in the top 10 or so.
- Odds elsewhere have USC QB Sam Darnold as the Heisman favorite, with Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield, Louisville QB Lamar Jackson, and Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett next.
- We’ve also used similar numbers to guess which coaches will be fired, foreseeing clear trouble for Butch Jones, Kliff Kingsbury, Jim Mora, and Kevin Sumlin.
Here’s everything. Ties went to the teams given better sportsbook odds of beating their over/unders.
