Oklahoma fan makes good on a Twitter bet and gets a Baker Mayfield tattoo

Man of his word.

Tattoo bets are some of the riskiest bets of all, due to the fact that, well, tattoos are a pretty permanent thing. Just last week, an Oklahoma fan tweeted at Sooners senior quarterback Baker Mayfield, and told him that if Mayfield retweeted him, he’d get a tattoo of Mr. Mayfield himself.

Well, his wish was granted, and “Mr. Brightside” said that he’d follow through on his promise to get the ink.

He unveiled the tattoo on Friday, and I have to admit, this thing is pretty dang life-like of Mayfield.

One of the more recent college football tattoos we’ve seen over the summer was this glorious Nick Saban tattoo that was spotted at Talladega just last month.

But kudos to this devoted OU fan for following through on his Twitter promise, and to Mayfield for playing along. Hopefully getting the ink wasn’t too painful but regardless, it had to be worth it.
