Colorado State vs. Alabama 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch online

Colorado’s offense will be put to the test against a stingy, physical Alabama defense.

The Colorado State Rams will collide with the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Bryant–Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This game will start at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2 (live stream).

Alabama’s smothering defense only surrendered 524 total yards during convincing wins against Florida State and Fresno State. Offensively, Alabama loves to rely on its rushing attack. Alabama compiled 478 yards and four touchdowns on the ground in two games. Dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts leads Alabama in rushing with 209 yards, and he also racked up two scores as well.

Colorado State (2-1) is coming off a 38-10 win against Abilene Christian, and its aerial assault continues to click on all cylinders. Rams quarterback Nick Stevens threw over 300 yards in the first three games, and he’s already collected 980 passing yards to go along with six touchdowns to four interceptions.

Colorado State vs. Alabama news:

Jumbo Package: Tide passing game still a work in progress; Matt Womack honored

“We’re still developing our team, so our team’s got a long ways to go. I mean, in a lot of areas,” Saban said Monday afternoon. “We called some passes to throw the ball down the field and we didn’t have very good protection. So, is that the quarterback’s fault or is that somebody else’s fault? Some of the conclusions that get drawn are not fair in some instances.”

Alabama Football 2017 Opponent Offensive Preview: Colorado State

Throw in two veteran running backs with opposite styles and a veteran offensive line, and this could be a very dangerous offense. I expect them to score at least three times on Alabama, probably somewhere in the 17-24 range.

Previewing Alabama vs. Colorado State: The Ram defense is experienced, but fragile

Colorado State vs. Alabama prediction:

Alabama should have no problem beating Colorado State. Indeed, the Rams look impressive so far, but it’s still early in the season. They are going to run into an Alabama defense that doesn’t like to surrender yards.
