Clemson vs. Louisville 2017: Start time, TV schedule for ABC’s Saturday night game
Lamar Jackson will get another shot at beating Clemson on Saturday. We have all you need to know to watch.

If Jackson wants to go for another Heisman, he has to take it to the Tigers on Saturday. Last season against Clemson, Jackson completed 27 of 44 passes for 295 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He also had 31 carries for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He did everything he could, but Louisville came out on the losing end, 42-36.
Now both teams are 2-0 to start the season, with the Cardinals ranked No. 14 in the nation and Clemson ranked third. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney likes big games, and Saturday’s will be one of the biggest. The last three games between the two teams have been decided by a touchdown or less. Things are always very close, but Clemson is favored by most.

Clemson vs. Louisville news:
- Baker Mayfield isn’t far behind, but Jackson is the 7/4 Heisman favorite this year. He leads a very talented field after two weeks of play.
- Louisville senior running back Jeremy Smith is out for the season with a toe injury. He has been a solid contributor the past couple seasons, but Jackson does the bulk of the running for the Cardinals.
- Clemson defensive end Austin Bryant said that Jackson and his teammate, Kelly Bryant, are of a similar talent at the end of the day.
“(Lamar is) a special talent,” Bryant said. “He’s got a different gear. He’s strong, he’s fast. So it’s going to present us a great challenge, but I believe that we face that same thing in Kelly Bryant every day in practice. It should be just like putting practice on a game day atmosphere.”
Clemson vs. Louisville prediction:
Jackson has averaged 505 yards per game over the first two games of the season, but Clemson has shown in the past that it can at least contain his arm. The defense is better now than it was a year ago, and Clemson should manage the win.
