NFLPA Collegiate Bowl 2018 rosters: Kenny Hill leads American team

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is just one of several college football all-star games that double as NFL scouting exhibitions. This year’s game features over 100 draft-eligible players trying to impress NFL talent evaluators and make a name for themselves ahead of the draft.

The players are split up into the American and National teams, each with their own coaching staffs. Mike Martz is leading the National team, while Darrell Green is head coach of the American team.

The American team features two quarterbacks from Power 5 conferences -- Kenny Hill of TCU and John O’Korn of Michigan. Hill is probably the most notable name on this year’s squad, leading the Horned Frogs to a Big 12 Championship appearance. O’Korn was less successful, throwing just two touchdowns to six interceptions in nine appearances, but he’ll try to make a better impression in this game.

Another name to watch on American is Lavon Coleman of Washington. The 5’11, 235-pound bruiser formed a strong backfield with Myles Gaskin and averaged 5.3 yards per carry in four seasons. Wide receiver Davon Grayson will look to follow in the footsteps of Zay Jones as East Carolina receivers to make it in the NFL.

On the National side, Arkansas’ Austin Allen is one of the three quarterbacks. The Razorbacks bottomed out last season, but Allen had better performances in 2016, when he led the SEC with 3,430 passing yards. Logan Woodside is another quarterback to keep an eye on after a prolific career at Toledo, capped off by being named MAC Offensive Player of the Year.
