Alabama player proposes to his girlfriend after winning the National Championship

He gets a ring, she gets a ring!

Alabama won its sixth national championship under Nick Saban in an instant classic. Our all-SEC National Championship went into overtime at 20-20, with the Tide coming out on top 26-23 on a game-winning 41-yard touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to DeVonta Smith.

But there was one more win for Alabama, as offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman proposed to his girlfriend on the sideline after the championship was secured:

It’s the second championship proposal we’ve had in the past two months. The last one came after the World Series, when Carlos Correa proposed to his girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez after giving Houston its first championship.

I, much like my coworker Charlotte Wilder, think stadium proposals are bad. But in these instances, it works. As she points out, “You win a ring, you give ring.”

Congrats to Bozeman and his fiancee, and we wish them nothing but happiness in the future.
