It’s 2018, and the great debate on paying college athletes rages on, especially with the ongoing FBI investigation in college basketball accusing coaches of offering thousands to potential recruits.
Former Alabama LB Ryan Anderson calls the NCAA the ‘biggest pimps in America’
His former teammate, Reggie Ragland, even chimed in.

One former collegiate football player currently in the NFL weighed in on the discussion. Ryan Anderson, who played linebacker for Alabama until 2016 and currently for Washington, had this to say about the NCAA:
Anderson is, of course, referring to the stipend that the NCAA gives athletes. My guess is he’s joking here, but you never know these days. Anderson’s former teammate, Reggie Ragland, chimed in and said it used to be much lower than $100:
There are potential ways to actually pay the players (like adopting the Olympic model!) and we all know the money is there. But for now, a discussion is as far as we’ll get when it comes to the NCAA.
