The Boston College men’s hockey team is riding a 10-game winning streak, but the Eagles will be tested on Friday against Boston University.
2012 College Hockey schedule: Boston College, Boston University square off
No. 1 Boston College will be tested on Friday when it faces No. 9 Boston University.


The No. 1 Eagles will go on the road to face the No. 9 Terriers. Friday’s game will be the second meeting between the two teams this season as Boston College knocked off Boston University 4-2 on Nov. 11. While the Eagles are riding a hot streak, Boston University has been up-and-down recently. The Terriers are 2-2 in their last four games.
That game won’t be the only one between ranked teams on Friday as No. 3 Minnesota will host No. 13 Nebraska-Omaha. No. 8 Union will also face a ranked opponent when it hosts No. 16 Quinnipiac. The final matchup of ranked teams will feature No. 7 North Dakota against No. 18 Colorado College.
Other top-five teams in action include No. 2 New Hampshire hosting Massachusetts-Lowell, No. 4 Miami (Ohio) going on the road to face Alaska and No. 5 Denver hosting Wisconsin.
