2012 College Hockey schedule: Minnesota State faces Nebraska-Omaha

The highlight matchup of the college hockey schedule features Minnesota State facing Nebraska-Omaha.

There will be plenty of hockey matches taking place this Friday night across the country. The highlight is likely taking place in the heartland, as 20th-ranked Minnesota State heads on the road to take on 13th-ranked Nebraska-Omaha for a 7:35 p.m. local start. Nebraska-Omaha holds a record of 10-5-1, while Minnesota State stands at 9-5-2. It is the only matchup of ranked opponents on Friday.

Elsewhere, seventh-ranked Western Michigan, currently 10-3-1, takes on tumbling Michigan at 7:35 p.m. ET. Fifth-ranked Miami (Ohio) battles Ohio State in Columbus at 7:05 p.m. ET, with Miami currently sporting a 10-3-3 ranking. No. 11 Denver (9-5-2) battles Bemidji State, with proceedings starting off at 8:05 p.m. ET. St. Cloud State (9-7) is currently ranked 17th and will host Colorado College at 8:35 p.m. ET.
