On Friday night in the college hockey world, the New Hampshire Wildcats visit the Boston College Eagles in one of the highlight games on the schedule.
2012 College Hockey schedule: Boston College hosts New Hampshire Friday night
Hockey East foes face off as the Eagles host the Wildcats on Friday night, in what is a busy night on the college hockey schedule.


Boston College, at 12-3-2 overall, is coming off a 3-3 tie with Yale last Friday, but sports a 7-0-1 record at home so far this season. New Hampshire, on the other hand, comes into Friday with an overall mark of 13-3-2, and are currently on a two-game winning streak. The game starts at 7 p.m. ET, and can be seen on NESN.
Elsewhere, the Denver Pioneers host the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks in a contest that will air on the NBC Sports Network at 10:05 p.m. ET. Denver enters the game with a record of 12-6-3, and are 9-4-1 at home, while Nebraska-Omaha is 13-8-1 and is carrying a two-game winning streak of their own.
Also, Notre Dame (14-5-0 overall) visits the struggling Michigan State Spartans (5-12-3) at 7:05 p.m. ET on Comcast, and the Minnesota Golden Gophers, at 14-3-3 overall, host the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves (3-11-4) at 9:05 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
