2013 NCAA Hockey schedule: Boston College and New Hampshire duel
The season is in the meat of the schedule now, with teams such as Boston College and New Hampshire jockeying for position.
The Eagles come in ranked No. 3 in the country only behind the Minnesota Golden Gophers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish, while New Hampshire is ranked fourth.
These two teams played on Friday night in Beantown, with Boston College emerging victorious, 5-2. The Wildcats got on the board first only to allow five consecutive goals.
In the Midwest, the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks are taking on the hosting Denver Pioneers in a clash between the No. 9 and 13 teams in the country respectively.
This contest is also a re-match of Friday. Tied 4-4 with less than seven minutes left, Zac Larraza scored two goals in the span of a minute and 27 seconds to propel Denver to a 7-4 win (an empty-net goal came with just second left to play)
