Less than a month remains on the schedule for the 2012-13 NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey season and it continues on Sunday with three games between ranked teams.
College Hockey schedule 2013: Hockey City Classic will feature two big games
Three matchups between ranked teams will headline Sunday’s college hockey schedule.


The marquee game of the day is scheduled to begin 4 p.m. ET when the No. 5 New Hampshire Wildcats travel to face the No. 4 Boston College Golden Eagles. It will be the third meeting of the two teams as they met for back-to-back games on Jan. 11 and 12. In each games, the home team won as Boston College won the first game, 5-2, before UNH earned a victory at home, 2-1.
Also worth keep an eye on will be the two games at the Hockey City Classic, played at Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill. The home of the Chicago Bears will serve as the site for two games between ranked opponents, beginning at 1 p.m. ET when the No. 3 Miami RedHawks face the No. 12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish. At 4:30 p.m. ET, the No. 2 Minnesota Golden Gophers will face the No. 18 Wisconsin Badgers.
The first of the two Hockey City Classic games will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit, while the second will be shown on Big Ten Network.
