PCB Sends Manager, Assistant Coach Packing
The PCB has axed Intikhab Alam and Aaquib Javed from their management for the next tour of Zimbabwe.

Interestingly, the PCB has made these changes around the same time that former skipper Shahid Afridi made some disparage remarks against the team management. However, the one person with whom Afridi had most problem, coach Waqar Younis, continues to be a part of the setup.
More interestingly, Afridi had expressed his happiness over the performance of Aaqib and even called him a better coach than Waqar.
The official reason behind the removals was given by the PCB as their jobs for the board’s NCA programs. According to the PCB, "Intikhab Alam has done a commendable job as National Team Manager. His experience as a cricketer and as a cricket administrator is always a great help. Being Director Game Development he is needed in Pakistan to execute game development plans. As we announce the team management on tour-to-tour basis so for Zimbabwe tour, Mr Naveed Akram Cheema is entrusted with this responsibility."
Afridi was involved in a public spat with Waqar when he blamed the coach of interfering with the selection of the team. Later Afridi said that he was not invited for the selection of the playing eleven for the fourth and the fifth ODI between Pakistan and West Indies in the recently-concluded series.
