With the 2013 Tour de France surpassing the halfway point on Tuesday, Christopher Froome and the rest of the peloton prepare for a shortened 33-kilometer ride from Avranches to Mont-Saint-Michel on Wednesday for the 11th stage of the race.

Froome currently holds a 1-minute 25-second edge over Alejandro Valverde at the top of the leaderboard. Bauke Mollema sits 1:44 behind, while Laurens Ten Dam, Roman Kreuziger and Alberto Contador all sit less than two minutes back. Froome has needed 41 hours 52 minutes 53 seconds to complete the first 10 stages. He is in the driver’s seat to win, although there is still plenty of race left for the rest of the field to make a move.

The individual time trial is a mostly-flat journey that allows the sprinters to really shine. At the same time, the climbers who made a move during the 10th stage will be pretty limited with how much they can push it. A more in-depth look at the stage can be found here.

Stage 11 will begin at 8 a.m. ET. NBC Sports Network will televise the action live.
