Following a 25 kilometer team trial on Tuesday to complete the fourth stage of the 2013 Tour de France, Simon Gerrans holds a slight lead over the rest of the field.

Gerrans won the fourth stage with his Orica-GreenEdge teammates right behind him, making him just the eighth cyclist in Tour de France history to win back-to-back stages. With the second-longest stage of the Tour looming on Wednesday, which is a 228.5 kilometer ride from Cagnes-sur-Mer to Marseille, it will be a true test of Gerrans’ stamina as he rides with the yellow jacket on.

Daryl Impey and Michael Albasini, two teammates of Gerrans, sit in second and third place, respectively. Michael Kwiatkowski and Sylvain Chavanel of the Omega Pharma-Quick Step team sit a second behind Gerrans in fourth and fifth place.

The full standings can be found here, courtesy of the Tour de France’s official website.

It’s still early enough in the race that no favorites have emerged. As the stages become more physically demanding, look for some of the race favorites, such as Alberto Contador or Joaquim Rodriguez, to begin making a move on the leaderboard.
