SB Nation Recruiting is on the scene in Atlanta for the second Elite 11 camp of the season as many of the top quarterbacks in Georgia and surrounding states.

While there is plenty of hard work that goes on that these camps, there’s also a little bit of time to have some fun:

National recruiting analyst Bud Elliott says that Marrietta (Ga.) Wheeler dual-threat prospect Elijah Staley has better size than expected coming into the event, with good length and better physical development than many prospects who split their time between basketball and football and therefore have limited opportunities in the weight room.

Staley has been receiving instructions on moving efficiently in the pocket from the Elite 11 staff -- stepping with his front foot to keep from taking so many steps before he delivers the football.

The Wheeler product is a consensus three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings and holds offers from Mississippi State, Boston College, and Vanderbilt.

Other prospects have received from praise from Elite 11 coach Trent Dilfer, including Tampa (Fl.) Wheeler pro-style quarterback Chase Litton, a three-star prospect with an LSU offer, and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton pro-style quarterback A.J. Bush, who has been receiving interest from Florida State.

One of the top prospects at the event, Jacksonville (Fl.) Jean Ribault dual-threat quarterback D.J. Gillins, is still wearing a brace on his knee after an ACL tear ended his sophomore season. The top-ranked dual-threat recruit in the country is committed to Texas Tech.

According to Elliott, one prospect who could stand to improve his conditioning is Blackshear (Ga.) Pierce County pro-style prospect Tyler Harris. Though Harris does have an extremely strong arm, his conditioning level could impact his performance at a camp that focuses heavily on effort and getting through drills quickly in the fast-paced format.

The quarterbacks are also dealing with less-than-ideal conditions, as Elliott reports that the wind is blowing hard out at the event. Dilfer, however, sees that as a positive because it will force the campers to show that they can control the football.

The wind has already showed several prospects to show off their arm strength throwing into, as Dilfer has praised Bush, Mobile (Ala.) Vigor pro-style prospect Devin Adams, West Florida (Fl.) prospect Joey Baker, and Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County dual-threat signal-caller Stephen Collier for their work in that regard.

Stay tuned to SB Nation for more live updates from the event.
