Chelsea vs. Liverpool: Lineups

Roberto Di Matteo has to make some adjustments in the defense with regular central defender David Luiz out with tonsillitis. John Terry returns from suspension with Branislav Ivanović shifting inside to play alongside him. César Azpilicueta and Ryan Bertrand will cover the full back spots. No major changes or surprises in the midfield or up top.

For Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers has five defenders in the lineup with Martin Škrtel apparently out. It appears he'll use a 3-5-2 formation with Carragher working in a sweeper role. It's an interesting adjustment but there's plenty of reason for concern with all the talent Chelsea has in the midfield. It'll either be a brilliant move or a disaster.

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Petr Cech; César Azpilicueta, Branislav Ivanović, John Terry, Ryan Bertrand; Ramires, Mikel; Eden Hazard, Oscar, Juan Mata; Fernando Torres.

Liverpool starting lineup (3-5-2): Brad Jones; Andre Wisdom, Jaime Carragher, Daniel Agger; Glen Johnson, Joe Allen, Steven Gerrard, Jose Enrique, Nuri Şahin; Raheem Sterling, Luis Suarez.
